Britney Spears ‘cried for 2 hours’ as pop star’s fans ‘freed her from conservatorship’ & thanks #FreeBritney movement
BRITNEY Spears “cried for two hours” because the pop star’s fans “freed her from her conservatorship” as she thanked the #FreeBritney movement in a heartfelt post.
Since officially forming in 2019 but just gaining worldwide attention this Summer, the singer’s “army” have been credited with the recent victories in her ongoing with dad .
“#FreeBritney movement… I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship…
“My life is now in that direction !!!!! I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it,” Britney tweeted.
She concluded: “I feel your hearts and you feel mine… that much I know is true.”
The group began to gain traction after reports surfaced that year that Britney was allegedly "forced" into a mental health institution "against her will."
While most of the support and protesting from the #FreeBritney group began online, a small amount of people would show up at the Los Angeles courthouse where many of her hearings take place.
However, that number has multiplied to hundreds - if not thousands - who gathered to support at her latest hearing.
Due to that loud outcry, in July, Britney's hand-selected counsel, Mathew Rosengart, stepped in to act as her attorney - the first big win for the case.
