Britney Spears ‘cried for 2 hours’ as pop star’s fans ‘freed her from conservatorship’ & thanks #FreeBritney movement

BRITNEY Spears “cried for two hours” because the pop star’s fans “freed her from her conservatorship” as she thanked the #FreeBritney movement in a heartfelt post. 

Since officially forming in 2019 but just gaining worldwide attention this Summer, the singer’s “army” have been credited with the recent victories in her ongoing with dad .

on Monday, the 39-year-old switched over to Twitter to share her gratitude with her army. 

“#FreeBritney movement… I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship… 

“My life is now in that direction !!!!! I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it,” Britney tweeted. 

She concluded: “I feel your hearts and you feel mine… that much I know is true.”

movement began in early 2019 with a group of fans who claimed was "being manipulated and controlled under the grounds of her conservatorship."

The group began to gain traction after reports surfaced that year that Britney was allegedly "forced" into a mental health institution "against her will."

While most of the support and protesting from the #FreeBritney group began online, a small amount of people would show up at the Los Angeles courthouse where many of her hearings take place.

However, that number has multiplied to hundreds - if not thousands - who gathered to support at her latest hearing.

 demanding to allow Britney to choose her own lawyer in her conservatorship case after 13 years of being refused that right.

Due to that loud outcry, in July, Britney's hand-selected counsel, Mathew Rosengart, stepped in to act as her attorney - the first big win for the case.

Following the months since he joined the team, Mathew has already scored some successful advantages - with the biggest being last weeks ruling against her father.

The Mickey Mouse Club alum scored a  in court when  granted the suspension of , 69, from the conservatorship after a 13-year battle.
