TONY Bennett's wife Susan Crow revealed the famous singer "doesn't know he has Alzheimers" but he thankfully still "recognizes his kids."

The hitmaker, however, was able to take the stage with Lady Gaga at Radio City Music Hall in NYC in August.

In a 60 Minutes interview, Anderson Cooper spoke with Tony and just a few weeks before the .

During a one-on-one with , Susan opened up about Tony's battle with .

Susan, 55, said: "Every day is different. Tony late at night, sometimes early in the morning, he's more alert, if I can use that word. So, I'll tell him, 'Tone, you're gonna be on 60 Minutes.' He's, like, 'Great.'

"I said, 'You remember that show, 60 Min--' he's, like, 'I do.' But in any other given moment, he won't know."

She continued: "He recognizes me, thank goodness, his children you know, we are blessed in a lotta ways. He's very sweet. He doesn't know he has it."

When Anderson, 54, asked, "he doesn't know he has it?" Susan once again confirmed, "No."

Tony and Susan tied the knot in 2007, but they do not share any kids together.

The performer does share sons Danny, 67, and Dae, 66, with first wife Patricia Beech, and daughters Joanna, 51, and Antonia, 47, with ex Sandra Grant Bennett.

TONY'S STRUGGLES

Tony was first diagnosed with the brutal disease in 2017 by Dr. Gaytari Devi.

"No one really knows," his doctor told Anderson when he asked if she knows what's happening in Tony's brain.

She added: "But I know that his hippocampus, which is the Grand Central Station of memories-- and the conduit through which we retrieve memories as well as lay down memories is not working very well."

Tony performed with megastar , 35, in August at the famed Radio City Music Hall - their partnership led to their first album together in 2014.

Gaga recalled how her interaction with Tony was when they were preparing for their shows over the summer.

She said: "You know, Anderson, for the first couple of weeks that I saw Tony since , he called me, 'Sweetheart.' But I wasn't sure he knew who I was.

The winner continued: "... When that music comes on, it's-- something happens to him. He knows exactly what he's doing. And what's important for me, actually, just to make sure that I don't get in the way of that..."

Tony and Gaga were able to perform to a packed house as opening night was sold out.

The crooner has won 20 Grammy Awards and has sold over 50 million records worldwide.
