Fetty Wap’s ex slams bad dad claims & says he was ’emotionally & financially responsible’ for daughter before her death
FETTY Wap's ex Turquoise Miami blasted claims that he was a bad dad to their late daughter, Lauren.
Lauren, who was the father of six's only child with Turquoise, passed away on June 24th.
After their , Turquoise cleared the air on her relationship with Fetty and Lauren's relationship with the rapper.
She explained that a lot had changed in recent years and that they'd all gotten along a lot more.
According to The , had previously called out her famous baby daddy for not paying child support.
She allegedly said: “Y’all I’m finna book this flight so I can personally ask this n**** when he plans to pay child support or get his daughter cause it’s been two years and I’m curious.”
In a better place
Clarifying, Fetty's baby mama took to Instagram to explain that “the old videos of [her] complaining about Wap are from 2017-2019."
She continued: “Our co-parenting had improved off the gram, and we came to a better place for Lauren. He became more financially and emotionally responsible for her.
"He didn’t post her the same way I didn’t, because Lauren use to get a lot of disrespectful things said about her and I asked him not to."
Lauren's mom said: “All that y’all need to know is Lauren loved her daddy and he loved her daddy and he loved her.
"She made him laugh with her. She made him laugh with her crazy funny personality and she loved to be the center of attention and he loved to be her audience.
“It couldn’t hurt some of y’all to be a little bit more compassionate, you don’t have to kick a man while he’s down. Losing a child is as down as it gets.”
Gone too soon
Reports began emerging in June that Lauren had passed away but no further information was released until Turquoise confirmed the news over the weekend.
During a recent live video with fans, while showing a sweet photo of his late daughter on the screen and telling viewers about her.
He got tearful while looking at the snap before bringing it closer to his face and giving it a kiss.
“If you can do me a favor, just post all butterflies," he asked, noting how much she loved them, before adding, "All butterflies.”
He then shared a photo of Lauren smiling to his Instagram feed on Tuesday, captioning it: "Hey mini me (My Twin) ♥️🦋 …. ' I love you to the moon and back forever and ever bestfriend '🦋🕊 🐻…"
