Halsey gives birth to first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin and reveals sweet name
HALSEY welcomed their first baby to the world with screenwriter boyfriend Alev Aydin, and revealed the little one’s name.
The singer-songwriter first announced their pregnancy in January of 2021, with a nude photoshoot cradling their baby bump.

The Without Me singer welcomed the tiny tot with , a screenwriter and Netflix show creator.
The hitmaker took to to reveal the news, and they shared two photos, one of which shows the star cradling the newborn in bed while Alev proudly looks on.
In the other photo, the baby is being breastfed as a closeup of its hand is shown.
Halsey captioned it: “Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love.”
The musician then added: “Ender Ridley Aydin. 7/14/2021.”

A LONG JOURNEY
Halsey has suffered three miscarriages over the past several years, partially due to suffering from .
During their 2015 concert tour, the entertainer spoke to about the loss they’ve experienced and how miscarrying affected them emotionally.
Halsey said: “I beat myself up for it, because I think that the reason it happened is just the lifestyle I was living.
“I wasn’t drinking. I wasn’t doing drugs. I was f**king overworked – in the hospital every couple of weeks because I was dehydrated, needing bags of IVs brought to my greenroom.”
They added: “I was anemic, I was fainting. My body just broke the f**k down… I want to be a mom more than I want to be a pop star.”
HALSEY’S LOVE
Halsey and Alev were first linked in October of 2020, though at that time they had been dating for “several months,” reported.
An insider shared: “Halsey has been low-key about their relationship. They were spending a lot of time at her house in the fall though, and it was obvious that she was happy.”
However, the duo spent ample time as friends prior and was photographed together at a Laker’s game in January of 2019.
Halsey and Alev seemed to bond over a , and have both posted memes and photos supporting the LA team.
In June of 2020, the pair visited a tattoo shop where they got matching ink, the word “seeds” on the side and top of their feet, drawn in each other’s handwriting.
The tattoo artist shared photos from the encounter as she explained Halsey’s reasoning behind the new addition.
“‘Seeds’ is for planting seeds. She said this is cosmicly the best week to plant seeds in your life. I agree,” the artist explained.
Alev originated from Turkey, where he visited at the start of the pandemic.
The writer shared a series of photos from his trip, writing: “I went back to the motherland for about a month. Bittersweet this time though.”
