She was a dancer on TV show Sing Along With Mitch from 1961 until 1964.
The pair wed on March 12, 1961, and remained married for 60 years until Damon’s death on June 29, 2021.
Damon was best knowing for starring on ABC's - the longest running soap opera in the United States.
The 84-year-old died after a health battle with renal failure for the past several years, reports stated.

“He was so kind, generous, giving, funny, selfless and just an awesome guy. He taught me so much. I’m sad beyond words.”
