JESSICA Simpson’s husband, Eric Johnson, had a friendly day out with family photographer Kristin Burns during a beach stroll, as the singer skipped the outing.
In photos exclusively obtained by The Sun, Eric, 41, could be seen walking on the beach in Malibu with Kristin, who is the family’s photographer, on June 4.
The former American football player wore a gray shirt with matching pants for the outing, as he topped off the casual look with sunglasses and a cap.
Kristin dressed in a burgundy top, jean shorts, black hat and sunglasses for the walk along the Malibu waterfront. At one point, the two cooled off by dipping their feet in the water.
An eyewitness told The Sun: “They put their feet in the water and at one point they gave each other a high-five.
“I thought it was Jessica, but then when she turned around it clearly wasn’t."
, 40, who married Eric in 2014, and their three children Maxwell, nine, Ace, seven, and two-year-old Birdie were not present for the beach trip.
Kristin confirmed to The Sun that she went on the beach trip with Eric.
Reps for Jessica and Eric did not respond to The Sun's request for comment.
Kristin has been a longtime photographer of the family, as her celebrity clientele also includes Jessica’s sister Ashlee and actress Alicia Silverstone.
Jessica recently tagged Kristin in photos from daughter Birdie’s second birthday in March.
Many of Kristin’s photos of Jessica are used for her clothing line Jessica Simpson Collection.

Knowing that the woman who abused her was simultaneously being abused by an older man in the same house, Jessica wrote that she told her abuser that she understood she had "a lot to deal with" and encouraged her to talk to someone so she can "heal from those moments."
Jessica added: "In so many ways, I felt bad for her, and I was allowing the abuse to happen."
She doesn't remember exactly what motivated her to confront her abuser, but she does remember that it was after during a time of deep "soul searching."
In her book, Jessica elaborated: "I was just in that place where I was celibate and I was on this journey to explore myself and I knew that I couldn't move forward without letting her know that I wasn't going to just leave it unsaid.
