On May 20, 2021, Alyssa took to Instagram to post a picture of herself visibly pregnant.
In the post, she revealed her baby's name to be Zen S Cannon.
Alyssa's pregnancy photos stirred confusion among her followers.

On December 7, 2021, it was announced that Zen died at only five months old after a brief battle with brain cancer.
That Tuesday, Nick took to his eponymous FOX talk show and broke the news to his audience.
He stated: "Over the weekend, I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus…brain cancer."
"I didn’t know how I was going to handle today, but I just really wanted to grieve with my family and people who love me.
"I gotta say thank you to my entire family but specifically to Alyssa."
Days later on Thursday, December 9, Alyssa paid tribute to her late son by channeling her grief into an Instagram post and wrote: "Oh my sweet Zen. The soreness I felt in my arm from holding you is slowly fading away, it’s a painful reminder that you are no longer here.
"The silence is deafening. These last 5 months we have been in this race together. We would hand the baton off to each other. You kept me going.
"We were a team, both determined to see it through. It feels unbearable running without you now. I can’t."
