How long have Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell been married?

Dax Shepard, 47, and Kristen Bell, 41, started dating in 2007 after meeting at a mutual friends' dinner party.

Bell later told  that there were "no sparks whatsoever" when she and Shepard first met and she hadn't known who he was.

However, two weeks later they went to a Detroit Red Wings baseball game where they hit it off.

"When I met her and her friends, I was suspicious of their unbridled happiness. I thought, 'Something stinks here; they're in a cult.'

"But slowly I began to see her positive way of looking at the world. She gives people the benefit of the doubt," Shepard recalled in a 2015 interview with .

Three weeks into their new relationship, Shepard called it quits, telling Bell they weren't in the same place and he was dating other people.

Bell told in 2017, "He sat me down and said, 'I can't have this right now. I think you're wonderful, but I am still dating other people.' And then I, like, liquefied and fell to the ground, but I felt incredibly respected that he had the balls to tell me we weren't in the same place."

Their breakup was short-lived, only lasting a few days before they reconciled, and in 2009 Shepard proposed.

The couple waited until same-sex marriage was legalized in California before tying the knot in 2013.

Do Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have children?

Shepard and Bell are the parents of two young daughters.

The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Lincoln Bell Shepard, in 2013, and welcomed their second daughter, Delta Bell Shepard, in December 2014.

Kristen admitted to that when the Covid-19 pandemic began, watching Dax homeschool their two girls made her "fall much deeper in love with him.";

She admitted that the beginning of the quarantine was hard on the family, adding, "[During the] period where we were annoying each other, it wasn't a bad idea to steer clear of each other for a couple days."

She continued, "Which, normally, I don't recommend. But since you're caught in a house with someone, taking a breather wasn't bad for us. We didn't talk for two days."
