“This year’s Academy Awards was all about showing up and showing off,” celebrity fashion stylist, Omenaa Boakye, tells The Sun.
“After being quarantined for nearly one-year, celebrities were keen to show that they still know how to strut their stuff on a red carpet. Two of my personal favorites were Angela Bassett and Carey Mulligan. Bassett’s red Valentino dress literally screamed ‘baby, I’m back’. The oversized statement sleeves, were everything, there was no need for Bassett to say a word, the dress did all the talking!”
