The 36-year-old Redd has dozens of television and movie credits on his resume, and is starring alongside SNL castmate Kenan Thompson on the NBC sitcom Kenan.
Redd nabbed the Emmy Award in 2018 for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the SNL song Come Back, Barack.
