Amber Laign has been with Robin Roberts for nearly 18 years.
The couple celebrates their dating anniversary on July 26.
In 2022, the couple had a lot to celebrate, as Roberts announced in a July 18 tweet that Laign, who had battled breast cancer since late 2021, had finished her radiation treatments.
Laign is a massage therapist and co-founder of Plant Juice Oils, which makes essential oils, including those infused with CBD.
While she and Roberts have been together since 2005, Roberts didn't come out as a gay woman until December 2013, when she shared an end-of-year Facebook post.
"I am grateful for my entire family, my longtime girlfriend, Amber, and friends as we prepare to celebrate a glorious new year together," she wrote in the December 2013 post.
Then-First Lady Michelle Obama tweeted her support: "I am so happy for you and Amber! You continue to make us all proud. -mo"
Roberts later came out publically on GMA in January 2014.

When did Robin Roberts and Amber Laign get married?
Roberts and Laign officially tied the knot on September 8, 2023.
They confirmed that they had exchanged vows through the Instagram account of their pet dog, Lukas.
"My mommies are MARRIED!!!! Married?……yes….married!!!" the caption read.
The two were also photographed in the back of a Rolls Royce on their wedding night, and per their guests, the ceremony was "ethereal" and "romantic."
Roberts announced at the beginning of 2023 that she and Laign were planning on getting married.
Roberts told : "I never thought I'd be planning not just the wedding but a honeymoon.
"When you grow up and you know that you’re gay — especially older — you think that's never going to happen. You're not going to have the wedding. You're not going to have the honeymoon.”
Roberts continued: “And so now to be talking about it and for it to be embraced by folks, it's quite special… The save-the-dates are going out soon.”
On September 1, 2023, Roberts bid goodbye to her cohosts on Good Morning America before heading off for her wedding preparations.
She and her longtime partner officially exchanged vows on September 8, 2023. The couple's beloved dog, Lukas, confirmed the news in an Instagram .

Did Robin Roberts also battle breast cancer?
Robin Roberts has also battled breast cancer and credits Laign as her ultimate support system.
Robers was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007.
Roberts took a leave of absence from GMA in 2012 to undergo treatment for a rare blood disorder that she contracted as a complication of the chemotherapy she received for breast cancer five years earlier.
Roberts told Ellen DeGeneres in 2014 that Laign is "very, very supportive and she's been right there beside me every step of the way."
In another interview with Ellen DeGeneres on April 24, 2022, Robins said "I went through it twice, barely shed a tear," but that she turns into "a puddle every time I think about what Amber is going through,"
