Gary Barlow assures fans Take That will NEVER split
Singer, who guest-edits today's Bizarre, has silenced fears his involvement in telly projects such as Let It Shine could lead to a band breakup.
GARY BARLOW has reassured TAKE THAT fans they will never have to go through another break up, following the band’s initial split in 1996 which sparked outright bedlam.
With the singer’s increasing involvement in musicals and TV, coupled with his solo desires, there are genuine fears he might call it a day after their 25th Anniversary Tour in 2018.
But Gary insists the band will always be active and believes they’ll one day get back together as a fivepiece - with the estranged JASON ORANGE back in the fold, as well as ROBBIE WILLIAMS.
He said: “We’re at the point of our career where we feel more excited than we’ve ever been. “I do picture doing more solo stuff in the future, it’s been a few years since I’ve done that. I don’t think there’s ever going to be an announcement that says, ‘Take That is finished,’ I really don’t.
“I just think it may be different. It may be four, it may be three, it may be five. I think it’s always going to be changing, that bit.”
The current line-up - Gary, MARK OWEN and HOWARD DONALD - have a new album, Wonderland, out in March and kick off their latest tour in May.
And he says there’s no chance the band will “start bickering again” and continue to give fans what they want.
He said: “You always have to remember your audience, be it TV or Take That.
“They’ve invested 25 years of their life in us, we can’t turn around and say, we don’t want to do it anymore, it’s like, they want us, so why not give it them.”
