Vinnie Jones recreates iconic Gazza ball grabbing picture… with a little help from James Corden

It takes a brave man to take football’s hardest man Vinnie by the tackle

VINNIE Jones has recreated his iconic balls crunching picture with Paul Gascoigne for the first time - thanks to James Corden.

The former football hardman, 51, posed up with James, 38, at the launch of the new @jaguar #ipace in LA last night, alongside One Direction star Niall Horan, 23.

But this time it was Vinnie's manhood which took a battering, after James cheekily squeezed his private parts while standing in front - sparking an ironic Gazza-style scream from the Lock Stock star.

The original picture was taken in 1988 when Vinnie, then at Wimbledon, was tasked with roughing up Gazza who had just broken into the first team at hometown club Newcastle.

A source said: "James is a lucky man, not many people could grab Vinnie's balls and get away with it.

"He'd just finished filming The Late Late Show when he popped in for the Jaguar launch.

"He'd never met Vinnie before but they got on great - and James couldn't resist recreating the famous picture.

"Niall found it hilarious."

Speaking about the incident in 2013, Gazza said: “In the tunnel Vinnie glared at me and said: ‘I’m gonna kill you fat boy’. I thought: ‘Jesus, this guy is mental’.

“He said if I tried to make him look stupid he would kick me up and down.

“The ball went out and Vinnie growled: ‘I have to take the throw-ins, stay there fatty and don’t move’. I did as I was told and when he came back he grabbed me by the balls!

“To be fair he had a decent career and he’s in Hollywood now. Maybe I should advertise people can touch my Family Allowance for luck!”
