Robbie Williams reignites bitter war with neighbour Jimmy Page at £17.5m London mansion
ROBBIE Williams is set to infuriate Led Zeppelin rocker Jimmy Page after revealing plans to build a 20-foot fence between their London mansions.
The pair have been at loggerheads over superstar Robbie’s renovations at his £17.5 million home which is next to Jimmy’s in West London.
Robbie’s plans have included a basement with a gym and swimming pool.
Now the Angels star has applied to build a trellis fence which is roughly the same size as a two-storey house.
A statement alongside the new application reads: “It has been noted that due to the use of existing wall elements and the significant retention of soil within the plot, wall elevations are low and allow passers-by a view of the garden.
“As part of a proposed landscaping scheme the designer has proposed the use of trellis panels as a low-impact way of increasing the privacy within the garden.

“These will be fixed to the inside of the garden wall using reversible fixings, or to posts cast into the soil in certain where there are no tree root protection zones.
“These will be installed whilst preserving existing planting, and are to be painted in dark grey.
“It is our view that said intervention will have negligible impact on the heritage value of the property…while adding a level of privacy to inhabitants whilst using the garden.”
Robbie, 48, has employed The Garden Trellis Company to put together plans for the wall which will cover the whole back of his property.

For the last couple of months, Robbie has had a team of specialists working on his “super basement”.
He was given the green light by the council after agreeing his builders would have to use “19th century hand-tools" and £50,000 monitoring devices to make sure the noise levels stay at a minimum so not to disturb Jimmy.
Jimmy, 78, fought for years against Robbie’s plans for the basement, which will include an indoor pool, gym and underground passageway to the main Grade II listed house.
The rock star had argued that the vibrations from the works could affect his property’s fragile ancient paintings and frescoes.
Robbie returned to London with his wife Ayda Field and their children earlier this year.
He made his music comeback with his smash hit No1 album XXV and is filming for a new Netflix show about his life.
