The Rolling Stones announce NEW tour date after being forced to cancel as Mick Jagger recovered from Covid
SUPERHUMAN Mick Jagger has shaken off coronavirus in just a matter of days - and has announced a brand new date for The Rolling Stones.
The group, also made up of Ronnie Wood, 74, and Keith Richards, 78, will play Amsterdam on July 7.
Drummer Steve Jordan, 65, has also joined the tour for the group in place of Charlie Watts, who died last year aged 80.
Mick’s recovery means The Stones will be back on stage as planned in Milan on Tuesday and in London at British Summertime on Saturday June 25.
In a statement today, Mick, 78, said: "Thank you all so much for your well wishes and messages the last few days.
"I'm feeling much better and can't wait to get back on stage next week!

"The Amsterdam date has been rescheduled for July 7 and we'll have news of the new Bern date ASAP."
Mick revealed he had fallen ill with Covid at the start of the week, forcing the band to call off their gigs in Amsterdam and Switzerland.
Insiders close to the band said the group were ready and raring to continue their SIXTY tour – which marks their sixth decade as one of the biggest bands in the business.
A source said: “Mick and the band can’t wait to get back out on stage and start performing.

“None of the others in the band fell ill thankfully and Mick got over his symptoms quickly.
“The band’s priority is the welfare of everyone on the tour and their fans.
“Now they can safely continue they cannot wait to start back up again.”
Mick was previously forced to postpone a series of Stones gigs back in 2019 after he needed an operation for a heart valve replacement.
He took three months to recover and bounced back with the band – who kicked off their first gig on the SIXTY tour with a sell-out show in Madrid earlier this month.
Mick is now back on top form and insiders revealed how the superstar worked out for an hour with a personal trainer before each gig to make sure he is at his best.
A source told The Sun this month: “Mick has a workout with his PT before going on stage.
