BROOKLYN Beckham and his wife Nicola tried to save cash at their £3million wedding by ordering fast food for guests from a US chain her dad works for.
The pair, who wed in Los Angeles on April 9, pulled in a Wendy’s fast food truck to dish out £3 cheeseburgers and £4 chicken nuggets to guests in the evening.
Nicola’s multi-millionaire businessman dad Nelson is a chairman of the chain and a major investor in the company.
In their first interview as a couple with e, Brooklyn, 23, who is trying to carve out a career as a chef, said it was his idea to have junk food at the bash.
The wannabe cook and actress Nicola, 27, chowed down on the greasy snacks along with their guests, which included big name stars like Eva Longoria, Mel B and Venus and Serena Williams.
Nicola, who is the heir to her dad’s multi-million pound fortune, said: “We didn’t eat at all until we got to the Wendy’s truck, and then I had three burgers.”

Brooklyn added: “It was my idea, a perfect final touch.”
Brooklyn and Nicola also shared more wedding photographs with the fashion bible, which included snaps of them walking down a beach in LA shortly after they wed.
Since they said “I do,” comparisons have been drawn between the extravagant wedding thrown by Brooklyn’s parents David, 47, and Victoria, 48, in 1999 and their big day.
But Nicola insisted they were not inspired by Posh and Becks.

She said: “Their wedding was incredible and those pictures are iconic, but the wedding we were most inspired by was Iman and David Bowie’s.”
Brooklyn and Nicola, who got engaged in July 2020 after nine months of dating, also revealed they had to change their wedding date three times because of the pandemic.
Nicola explained: “When the world was in lockdown, we went through different variations of what a wedding would look like.
“We weren’t sure if we should do a small one earlier and then a big party.
“Eventually, we decided we wanted the big wedding as soon as it was possible to do it safely. And we’re so happy we did.
“It was amazing to be in the presence of so many people we love again.”
Brooklyn added: “We didn’t realise how much we missed that.”
On the day Brooklyn along with his dad David, 47, and his brothers Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, all wore custom made Dior suits.
Nicola, who had Brooklyn’s sister Harper, ten, as a bridesmaid, chose to wear a couture Valentino dress which was made especially for her.
In the interview with Vogue, chef Brooklyn said the best part of the day was seeing Nicola for the first time.
He said: “The highlight of the whole wedding for me was seeing her for the first time in that dress.
“It was the first time ever in my life when I felt like I couldn’t catch my breath.”
Nicola also revealed her mum Claudia had secretly added details to her veil – including an evil eye which is said to ward off bad spirits.
Claudia also had a seamstress to use blue thread to embroider a message to Nicola which read: “Nicola, my heart. You are me, I am you. All my love, all my life, my beautiful girl, inside and out. Love, mom.”
Nicola said: “I’m happy she showed that to me after the ceremony because I just burst into tears.”
Since they wed Brooklyn and Nicola have been inseparable and have been photographed out together in New York and London.
But while the newlyweds are now blissfully in love, Nicola admitted that when they first met at Coachella in 2017 it wasn’t love at first sight.
