Ferne McCann’s boyfriend Lorri Haines breaks silence on ‘destructive time in his life’ and says sorry for videos
FERNE McCann’s boyfriend Lorri Haines has posted a grovelling apology on Instagram after a video of him appearing to sniff a white powder emerged online.
Dubai-based jeweller Lorri, who started dating Ferne, 31, at the start of the year, said the videos were from a “destructive time” in his life.
The Sun first revealed a video of Lorri, 30, last month which was being sent around WhatsApp groups.
It is claimed a further video is now in circulation which appears to show Lorri with a packet containing a pink substance.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Lorri said: “In light of the videos circulating of me from a destructive time in my life. I want you to hear this directly from me.
“I want to start this by saying how sorry I am that my past actions are bringing pain to the people I love most in my life now. It is unfair that something I did a long time ago impacts them.

“I have spent years turning my life around, to be someone I can be proud of. I changed my lifestyle for the better a long time ago but like most people, I have made stupid mistakes and done things I am not proud of. I never thought these actions could possibly hurt anyone else either.”
He continued: “These things do not reflect the person I am today.
“Whilst I can’t undo the past, I can only continue to strive to be a better person and learn from past mistakes.
“The latest videos I am being threatened with are from a long time ago, I could never know then the harm they would cause me and more importantly the people in my life now.
“For that I am deeply sorry.”
In a video obtained by The Sun last month, Lorri could be seen dancing topless wearing white shorts as he held two small, clear pouches.
He twice scooped up powder from a bag. At one point, a pal can be heard shouting: “No, no Ket, no Ket.”
The man then is heard telling Lorri to “put the Ket down”, before he is seen chucking a packet on to a table.
The footage, taken in a Dubai apartment, emerged a month after Ferne posted her first photo with Lorri on Instagram, captioned: “When you know, you know.”
When asked about the video, Lorri told The Sun he was not taking drugs and was “joking about’’.
But a source at the time said: “Ferne will be stunned by this video, whether he was joking or not”.
The videos emerged in public after Ferne declared love for her new boyfriend by posting gushing tributes on Valentine’s Day.
“Thank you for showing me integrity and honesty.
“Most importantly, thank you for showing me true love.”
In the video, Lorri— known as “Lozza” to pals — appeared to clean his sniffing equipment, inspected it, then dunked it into the bigger pouch and shoved it towards the camera.
He then stepped back and the off-camera man can be heard saying: “That’s none of your business”.
Lorri shook his head and replied: “None of my business.”
Earlier this month Ferne told The Sun she wanted kids with Lorri.

Ferne, who has a daughter, Sunday, added: “I would love to get married and I think about it all the time.
“I have never thought about it until now because I have met someone now that I would genuinely marry.”
