Naomi Campbell opens up on being a first time mum at 50 in her most revealing interview ever in Vogue
NAOMI Campbell will open up about becoming a mum aged 50 for the first time in her most revealing ever interview in British Vogue.
Insiders said the supermodel had shot a cover for the March edition of the fashion bible and in her interview would talk frankly about the challenges and joys she had faced when she welcomed a baby daughter into the world.
Naomi, who has graced the cover of Vogue 66 times, stunned fans last May when she announced she had welcomed a baby daughter.
Previously Naomi has not spoken about the tot, or her conception, in depth and has never publicly revealed her name.
A source said: “Speaking about her journey into motherhood is huge for Naomi and of course she chose Vogue as the publication to do this.
“Naomi is a very close friend of the editor Edward Enniful and she wanted to tell her story with him.
“The cover and the interview is the talk of the industry.
“It is one of Naomi’s most honest interviews ever.”
Naomi’s baby announcement last year caused shockwaves as she had kept her news completely out of the public eye.
She posted a photograph of herself cradling her daughter’s feet on Instagram and told her 12.1million followers: “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.”

According to friends at the time, the father of Naomi’s daughter he is a multi-millionaire businessman living in New York, and the pair, introduced through mutual pals, are thought to be living in her rented £12million duplex apartment in the city.
The only time Naomi has previously spoken about her daughter was last September.
In an interview with the BBC Naomi said she felt blessed because the tot was already sleeping through the night.
Speaking on BBC HardTalk, Naomi said: “I’m really lucky. I think have a dream child.
“She’s wonderful. She’s very independent already, very smart, alert, sleeps 12 hours. She’s a good girl.”
When asked by interviewer Zeinab Badawi if she planned to “instil values in her to be an independent woman”, Naomi responded: “Absolutely.”
