The Capture – Who are Pilgrims for Justice and will they help Shaun? Plus more unanswered questions from episode four
THE Capture returned to TV tonight and we are still no closer to knowing who murdered Hannah and who's trying to frame Shaun.
There was also a MAJOR cliffhanger with the introduction of the Pilgrims for Justice - here's all those pesky unanswered questions from episode four...
Four burning questions from episode four of The Capture
1) Why are the Secret Service trying to frame Shaun?
It's becoming more and more apparent that the Secret Service along with the CIA have teamed up in a top secret mission that involves Shaun.
But why are they trying to pin Hannah's abduction and murder on him?
Why do they need him silenced.
It's not clear who is helping who when it comes to DSU Gemma Garland and Frank Napier but they are both determined to see Shaun caught and framed for Hannah's murder.
2) What does Commander Danny Hart REALLY know?
At the start of the series DI Carey was having an affair with Commander Danny Hart
It now looks like he was just using her to control her because as soon as she started to work out that Shaun was being framed - she was suspended from work (under his guidance).
Carey then went to confront Hart in front of his wife - however he took her aside and tried to silence her.
Is he the man behind Shaun being framed? At first he didn't seem like a key character but now it looks like he is heavily involved in the plot - which leads us to our next point.
3) Who did Hannah really work for?
Whilst talking to Carey, Hart let on a bit more info about Hannah's disappearance by questioning how much Carey had looked into Hannah's past.
He then said: "When did you ever hear of a human rights lawyer defending a solider?"
He insinuated that there was more to her defending Shaun in court than just a coincidence - like this whole plot has been orchestrated from the beginning and goes right back to Shaun's first trial.
Is Hannah even really dead? We saw her body being taken away, but could her death have been faked? Maybe Hannah is on it this after all.
4) Who are the Pilgrims for Justice?
What a cliffhanger we were left with on tonight's show.
During the episode we saw Shaun escape capture from the police after he found Hannah's body in the boot of Mat's car.
As he went on the run he was hit by a van - of course in true The Capture style, this was no accident.
After being hauled into the van that hit him, he met a man and a woman.
At first it looked like the were working for the people trying to frame Shaun - however, the woman claimed that she is trying to help him - she even showed him that he had a tracker in his shoe which was being used to monitor his every move.
The woman then took Shaun to a dance rave, randomly so they "could talk, but not be heard".
Shaun then tried to walk off and ended up in a back room of the rave where he was met by a group of people and his former lawyer, and Hannah's boss, Charlie Hall.
The show ended on a cliffhanger with Charlie introducing the group as the Pilgrims for Justice - he then said to Shaun: "I imagine you'd like to know what the f*** is going on."
But who are they? And are they really the ones trying to help him? Or are they the ones trying to frame Shaun? We need to know!
