Paul Hollywood’s ex Summer Monteys-Fullam has dropped her legal case against the Great British Bake Off judge
AS their war of words escalated, Summer Monteys-Fullam announced she was suing her ex, Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood over social media posts.
But the former barmaid has now told pals she has dropped the case against the silver-haired baker because he has deleted the posts in question.
A source said: “Summer is determined to draw a line under the whole break-up.
“It’s been stressful for them both and she has decided to just drop the action against Paul.
“It’s probably better for them both if they just move on rather than drag out what’s been a bitter break-up through the court.
"She just wanted him to delete his online posts, which he has, so as far as she’s concerned it’s done.”
I told last month how Summer dumped the TV judge.
And it turned nasty when she returned to the £1million home they shared in Kent to collect her possessions, with Paul firing off a string of angry messages to her.
Summer then decided to sue, accusing Paul of making false statements online about her.
Someone might want to tell Paul that it’s all over, though.
From what I’m told, he has still been peppering Summer with messages, often deleting them before she even has had a chance to look at them.
It comes as his estranged wife Alex, who he is currently in the process of divorcing, made some barbed comments that she would not consider dating again until her and Paul had formally split.
She said: “Until that’s complete, I won’t even consider it. This is time for me, now.”
Amy's back with smiles in the isles
SHE may have been on the White Isle, but Love Island’s Amy Hart was going for gold as she returned to the Balearics.
Given the heartbreak she endured with telly dancer Curtis Pritchard this summer, you might have expected her to keep a greater distance from Majorca, where the ITV2 show is made.
But Curtis seemed to be a distant memory as Amy went partying on the neighbouring island of Ibiza this week.
It’s great to see her finding some happiness again.
Must watch
WHAT? The Capture, BBC 1, 9pm.
WHY? Holliday Grainger stars as DI Rachel Carey, with the net closing around fugitive solider Lance Corporal Shaun Emery (Callum Turner). Gripping.
Darcy's a baby boomer
HUNKY magician Darcy Oake spoke to producers on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions about axing the death-defying stunt that got him into the final – in case it sent pregnant judge Alesha Dixon into labour.
Darcy, who escaped from a suspended box before it exploded, said: “I asked my team, ‘Should we be worried about this? She’s ten feet away and this thing’s going to explode’.
"I talked to producers. I was worried for her and they were like, ‘No, do it’.”
But the Canadian, who is performing a one-off show at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on Halloween, added: “I’ve had so many weird things happen, but no labours. I was hoping BGT would be my first.”

Wannabe was Lion in wait
THE new series of The Apprentice hasn’t even started yet – but already one of the candidates is mired in controversy . . . and for a very unlikely reason.
Librarian Lottie Lion – one of 16 wannabes who will try to win over Lord Sugar on the BBC1 hit this year – has angered animal rights campaigners by posting pictures of herself posing with pheasants she killed on shooting trips.
She even wrote alongside one of the images: “I know, I’m cruel.”
Chris Luffingham, of the animal rights charity the League Against Cruel Sports, said: “Anyone who enjoys shooting or hunts animals for ‘sport’ is showing they are stuck in the past and not the type of modern entrepreneur Lord Sugar will be looking for in The Apprentice.”
It looks like it won’t just be Lottie’s guns getting fired at this rate.
Dec has double
AMID the carnage of series five’s violent ending, Peaky Blinders fans were amused by what looked like a Declan Donnelly cameo.
Scenes featuring an actor playing Winston Churchill left some viewers wondering if the cheeky Geordie presenter hadn’t crept on set to play Britain’s wartime Prime Minister.

The actor behind the make-up was Neil Maskell, though he looked a lot like Dec when the presenter dons prosthetics to prank people on Saturday Night Takeaway.
I’m sure Dec will be thrilled with the comparison . . .
