EastEnders: Bobby Beale’s mental health storyline explained as his hallucinations of dead sister Lucy get worse

EASTENDERS' Bobby Beale is set to find himself in a terrifying situation tonight as his hallucinations get worse.

Fans were horrified during Tuesday night’s episode when the tormented teen – haunted by visions of his murdered sister Lucy – attempted to follow her ghost onto the train line at Walford Common station.

EastEnders fans were even worried that Bobby could DIE after being lured onto the tracks by his sister’s spectre as his mental health reached rock bottom.

The teenage killer - who is played by actor Clay Milner Russell in the BBC soap - has been struggling with visions of Lucy, who he murdered as a child.

After trying to set fire to the house to rid himself of her earlier this week, Bobby called on a friend to help him.

But his grandmother Kathy had his friend arrested so Bobby fled the Square and slept rough.

Struggling to cope he saw Lucy with the jewellery box he used to kill her with - unable to stop his visions.

The worrying scenes came after Bobby took advice from Rainie Cross – of all people – and headed off to buy some drugs to quieten the voices in his head.

But – shockingly – whatever he bought from a shady-looking geezer at the park made things worse.

As well as being haunted by Lucy, he saw visions of Rainie in his drug induced state and he followed her to the train station.

Seeing his sister walking away from him on the other platform, Bobby began to step down onto the tracks to follow her, putting his life in danger.

And will he get help for his obvious mental health issues?

Last month it was revealed that Bobby would visit Walford Common where Lucy’s body was found back in 2014.

The actor who plays Bobby was spotted filming scenes with Tony Clay – Callum Highway – at Walford Common station.

Bobby murdered Lucy with the jewellery box she hid her drugs in back in 2014.

He was revealed as the killer during a special week of live episodes to mark EastEnders' 30th anniversary in 2015.
