Coronation Street spoilers: Drunk Daniel Osbourne flips out at Bethany Platt in heartbreaking scenes
IT's all getting too much for Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne as he struggles to cope in tomorrow night's episode and turns to drink.
The newlywed ends up getting so drunk as he tries to blot out the pain of being about to lose his terminally-ill wife Sinead - that he takes a swing at newcomer Michael Bailey.
Corrie fans will see that it’s actually Sinead’s idea that Daniel goes out - encouraging her husband to go to the surprise party the Baileys are throwing for dad, Eddie.
But later, Jenny Connor, finds a solemn Daniel drinking alone in Victoria Gardens and convinces him to head to the party.
Daniel wastes no time getting stuck into the rum punch and before long he’s wildly dancing around the place.
A worried Bethany asks Daniel if he’s okay, but he flips out at her, leaving her upset by his scathing reply.
Gutted, she heads outside, followed by James who wants to make sure she’s alright.
Touched by James’ kindness, Bethany leans in for a kiss, only to be left feeling even more humiliated when he resists.
Meanwhile a concerned Michael tries to lead Daniel outside for some air, but he reacts badly and tries to take a swing at him.
Adam Barlow then arrives at the party to take a bereft Daniel home as he breaks down and sobs in Adam’s arms.
Elsewhere, Sinead asks Beth if she can make sure she’s dressed in something nice when she’s buried, leading her to become tearful too.
Earlier this week, Corrie fans were left in bits as Sinead broke down over her devastating diagnosis.
The machinist - who is played by actress Katie McGlynn in the ITV soap - was left emotional after being asked about her plans for her end of life care.
She told the nurse: "Typical me, months left to live and I'm still dithering."
With it playing on her mind, Sinead later broke down during her chemo appointment terrified of what would happen when she dies.
She said: "I know there's going to be pain and a shed load of drugs.
"I just hope it's not like whoosh. One minute I'm here and the next I'm not. That's what I'm really scared of.
"It's the thought of such nothingness.
"It's funny, you can't move for books and TV shows telling you how to live your life but when it comes to knowing how to die..."
Sinead later worried that Bertie would only remember her for being sick - and before she could finish talking to Daniel she fell asleep, exhausted. Fans were left distraught over the scenes.
One wrote: "Oh my god in actual tears over Sinead's storyline. devastated. #corrie."
A second said: "This is giving me all the feels! #CoronationStreet."
Another added: "This is so so sad! Poor Sinead! #CoronationStreet."
