Stormzy pictured leaving afterparty with a group of women after awkward encounter with ex Maya Jama at GQ Awards
STORMZY was seen leaving the GQ Awards afterparty with an entourage of females following an awkward reunion with ex girlfriend Maya Jama.
The Brit Award winner was spotted surrounded by a group of women as they left the posh party in the early hours of the morning.
The 26-year-old looked in good spirits as he was joined by a plethora of blondes and brunettes as they left the swanky bash held at The Tate Modern in London.
Dressed up in a black suit and white shirt, the star was enjoying the night with the beauties who were also dressed to impress in long cocktail dresses.
The rapper had just survived an awkward encounter with his ex, BBC Radio 1 presenter Maya - and it looked as though the star was happy to have his attention diverted by the group of attractive women.
Last month The Sun exclusively revealed that the grime superstar, 26, and presenter Maya, 25, split after four years together to focus on their careers.
However, following speculation from fans on social media, Stormzy denied cheating on Maya with close pal Jorja Smith.
And it appears things are still tense between the two as an insider said the former couple made sure they were apart during the evening.
The source said: “Stormzy and Maya sat apart from each other and were placed on different tables. They walked around the venue separately all the time."
And although Maya looked stunning and partied with TV presenter AJ Odudu, the insider said she made a dramatic exit.
The source said: “Maya must have felt awkward because she snuck out the back to leave early."
But it appears that the grime star was keen to enjoy his night - despite any awkwardness.
The insider continued: “Stormzy was so funny and in really high spirits despite being in the same room as his ex so soon after the break up.

“He was just loving life. Being loud, eccentric, funny and humble as he kept checking in to make sure everyone else was OK - even the staff, who he offered to get food and drinks for in case they hadn’t eaten and were hungry.
"He said he’d rather be chilling behind the scenes.”
The former couple met at the Red Bull Culture Clash in late 2014 and began dating the following January with the pair living together in West London.
A source close to Maya said at the time of their split: "The decision isn’t one she has come to lightly, but ultimately the relationship has come to an end.
"She wants to focus on her TV and radio career for now."
