Mel B replaces Paddy McGuinness as Celebrity Juice team captain

MEL B will replace Paddy McGuinness on Celebrity Juice.

The Spice Girl will be the new team captain opposite Holly Willoughby on the show hosted by Leigh Francis who shot to fame impersonating Mel on Bo Selecta.

Paddy is leaving the show after being unable to take part this series due to scheduling conflicts.

Mel B said in a statement: "I am so happy that I’m going to be part of the Celebrity Juice family and thrilled to be a captain.

"My mission is to give Keith a run for his money. Watch out. Things are going to get even more crazy."

Viewers will be able to see the exciting new line up on the most outrageous show on the telebox when Celebrity Juice returns to screens in the autumn.

Paddy joined the show last year to replace outgoing original team captain Fearne Cotton.

Fans were shocked at Paddy joining the show after I'm A Celebrity winner Emily Atack was the hot favourite for the job.

Fearne decided to step away from the show after her career took a different direction.

A TV source said at the time: "Fearne has loved doing Celebrity Juice — it’s been a big part of her life.
