Katie Price defended by fans after getting trolled for kissing son Harvey, 17, on the lips
KATIE Price has been defended by fans after she got trolled for sharing a picture of herself kissing her son on the lips.
In a new post, the mum-of-five kisses Harvey, 17, as they enjoy a day out on a boat in Turkey.
"Me and My Harvey enjoying the sunshine today,"; she commented.
Harvey Price is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, but trolls were quick to criticise her for kissing her son in this way.
"Why would she be kissing her son on the lips?" one asked.
"It’s not appropriate kissing your 17 year old child on the lips," another added.
But other mums rushed to Katie's defence and said there is nothing wrong with showing affection for your children.
"Can’t quite believe some of these comments coming though! She is kissing her beloved son on the lips that’s all. I thought most people did that with there kids. I know Harvey is a older child but with his condition he is child like. I think it’s sweet," one fan commented.
"Hansom Harvey. I kiss my 22 year old autistic son on the lips every day he's my son and my baby," another wrote.
A third mum added: "My eldest son is 27 and he still kisses me in the lips. Get over yourselves."
It's not the first time someone in the public eye has been criticised for kissing their children on the lips.
David Beckham was targeted by trolls last November, after he shared a photo of him kissing Harper, 7, while ice skating in London.
The ex-footie star's loving Instagram post was met with a stream of comments from unhappy followers claiming it was "wrong" for a father to kiss his daughter on the lips.
Meanwhile, earlier today The Sun Online revealed that Katie has cheated on toyboy lover Kris Boyson with new hunk Charles Drury.
Katie has since dumped the personal trainer via text message, with Kris being spotted chucking out his ex's clothes and children's toys from his home.
Katie had jetted new lover Charles out to Turkey on a secret holiday behind Kris's back, with sources telling us that she met Charles on social media and had been lining him up to replace Kris for some time.
Katie was forced to go back to Turkey amid fears her recent surgery wounds aren't healing properly.
This is not the first time that Katie has cheated on Kris, enjoying a fling with businessman Alex Adderson last year because he had more money than Kris.
