BGT: The Champions viewers feel sick as Bello and Annaliese Nock cheat death on stage and Simon Cowell says he’s ‘amazed’ they are still alive
DAREDEVIL dad and daughter duo Bello and Annaliese Nock left Britain's Got Talent: The Champions viewers feeling like they were going to vomit after watching their death-defying stunt.
The pair risked their life on stage and were told by Simon Cowell that he was "amazed" they were still alive after their horrifying 'Wheel of Death' performance.
The American pair, who live on a farm in Florida, were one of nine acts fighting it out on tonight's opener.
The circus performers have both appeared on America's Got Talent separately in the past.
Annaliese, 21, was on the 2018 series, where she exploded out of a coffin filled with dynamite, while her dad, 50, was on the 2017 run and got shot out of a cannon over the rotating blades of a helicopter.
But BGT: The Champions is the first time they have come together to perform on TV and they made their debut with a nauseating trick they called Wheel Of Death.
Annaliese said in her intro: " We don't take that name lightly, we're going to be riding a 50 ft high rotating wheel trying to recreate weightlessness.
Added Bello, who has grvaity defying hair: "We are going to be risking our life performing together."
In the performance, the pair performed on two giant steel hamster wheels that were connected by a metal contraption that was constantly moving.
They jumped around on their wheels without any safety gear and when the camera panned to the audience, many were unable to look.
Even the judges and presenters struggled.
"There is no net or anything, if they fall, they fall," said Ant McPartlin.
Amanda Holden also looked nervous while David Walliams covered his mouth.
The finale of the stunt saw Bello climb on top of the turning wheel and balance high above the stage as the audience clapped along.
All four judges gave them a standing ovation while a clearly emotional Bello kissed the ground.
"Did we make it?" he asked Ant and Dec Donnelly as they joined them on stage.
"That was one of the scariest things I've ever seen," said Dec.
The panel seconded that reaction.
"You two are certifiably insane," Simon said. "And I mean that as a compliment."
"The reaction here is everything I hoped it would be...you are one of the most incredible acts we have had on Got Talent over the years," the slimmed-down mogul continued.
"I am amazed you are both still alive, I have got to be honest with you. Everytime you do something, I genuinely think you are going to die. So you are still alive, thank you."
David chipped in: "It was absolutely horrible wasn't it? I could barely watch it because it was absolutely terrifying. Don't we have a health and safety department on this show? How is that allowed? It was incredible, absolutely incredible."
But cheeky David couldn't resist getting a jibe in about Bello's look.
"There is one thing you have to watch in this country though, you look like Jedwards's dad," he laughed.
Pregnant judge Alesha Dixon then said she felt 'dizzy' and praised their showmanship, while Amanda called them "nuts" but added that she "loved" the nail-biting performance.
And viewers at home were in agreement.
