The Capture finale airs on BBC One tonight – here’s what to expect from the final episode
BBC One's thriller The Capture has certainly got the nation gripped with its constant twists and turns.
And TONIGHT sees the show's sixth and FINAL episode - here's everything you need to know about the hit show...
When is The Capture next on BBC One?
The thriller concludes TONIGHT (October 8, 2019) on BBC One.
You can catch it from 9pm to 10pm.
All six episodes will be available to watch on the once it each one has aired on television.
What will happen tonight on The Capture?
In the sixth and final episode, a mysterious character called Jessica Mallory - played by Bond girl Famke Janssen - arrives in town to visit Frank Napier.
Her auspicious arrival comes as the intelligence services face their deepest secrets being revealed.
And Rachel is left with a horrible choice that will not only determine Shaun's destiny but will influence the UK's entire criminal justice system.
Hopefully we won't be left with too many cliffhangers and a lot of the blanks get filled.
But we'll have to tune in to tonight's episode to have those questions answered!
Who is in the cast of The Capture?
The Capture cast roll call is pretty impressive with stars from The Crown, Harry Potter and Game Of Thrones all working on the programme.

- Lia Williams also from the The Crown and Kiri.

Is The Capture coming back for a second season?
Considering we haven't even reached the end of series 1, perhaps it's not that surprising that we haven't had confirmation of a second season.
And now fans are anxious that the show will wrap up nicely as a one-off series in next week's finale.
However it is also perfectly plausible that the Beeb will take into account the success of the current series and renew it for a second instalment - so fingers crossed!
