STRICTLY Come Dancing's glamorous new dancer Nancy Xu is unlikely to waltz off with anyone from the show - her boyfriend is a bodyguard.
Nancy was unveiled as the latest addition to the hit BBC show which kicked off with rehearsals this week.
But away from the ballroom we can reveal she is inseparable from partner Mikee Michele a martial arts expert who started training as a fighter at the age of just TWO.
And on his website he boasts of training others up to work as bodyguards and to teach them how to use everday items like umbrellas, newspapers and biros as weapons.
He also says he can protect train clients to be safe from any type of dangers including one, would assume, celebs with a roaming eye.
A show insider said: “Nancy is stunning and a brilliant dancer and producers are absolutely delighted to have secured her for the new series.
“But any of the celebrities or pro-dancers thinking of trying to get too close to her will need to be careful. Not only is she head over heels in love with Mikee but he’s hards as nails and rarely leaves her side.”
Pictures on social media show Nancy and Mike travelling the world together.
In one video he posted on his Instagram page she even takes part in one of his fighting training exercises by punching him it the face when he asks her too.
Mikee, who is also a trained choroegrapher, has also regularly been used to write and star in movie fight scenes.
On his website he says: “When I was two years old I started to study martial arts.
"I was just a baby, but thanks to my father who is a karate master, I created a system which is perfect and easy to learn for everyone, every gender and body shape, age and life style. This has been great also for my actor life as I started also to coreograph action scenes for movies and other genres of shootings.
In an ad posted for his services he describes this system as an “Essential Combat System”.
“It is useful for all kinds of people, any age, gender, weight or body shape,” he says.
“It includes the studying of weapons, knives, sticks, shotguns and objects available at the time such as umbrellas, newspapers, bottles, pens, phones and chairs. All of this can be learned in a short time.”
The "curse" is a phenomenon that hits celebrities and their dance partners during their time on Strictly Come Dancing.
Due to the harsh schedules, sexy dance moves and close quarters with their partners, their off-screen romances sometimes suffer as a result.
Strictly became regarded as "cursed" after a series of very public breakups from show participants - and ever since, more and more fan favourites have succumbed.
Over the course of fifteen series of the BBC favourite, nearly a dozen couples have split up thanks to their time on the show.
On August 18, 2019 it was revealed that Katya and her husband Neil Jones had split - ten months after the Russian dancer was pictured kissing dance partner Seann Walsh.
On March 27, 2019, The Sun exclusively revealed that Strictly champ Stacey, 32, had split from her long-term boyfriend of three years.
Dianne Buswell, 29, and YouTuber Joe Sugg, 27, were giggling away at rehearsals just hours after The Sun Online revealed that Dianne had split from her boyfriend Anthony Quinlan over fears she's growing too close to Joe.
Seann Walsh and Katya Jones hit headlines after they were caught having a snog.
Professional dancer Karen Clifton was dating an accountant after her marriage to fellow dancer Kevin hit the rocks.
Karen, 36, and Stuart Wood were seen together a number of times and he was spotted leaving her home.
But Karen called time on their romance as her marriage to Kevin broke down.
Kevin was also seen getting close to Strictly partner Louise Redknapp.
Louise's marriage ended up "under strain" following her appearance on the show.
The mum of two, who was runner-up in the 2016 series, was said to be desperately trying to save her 18-year marriage to Jamie Redknapp.
And the list goes on...
