Strictly’s Karen Clifton takes a swipe at ex-husband Kevin with meme saying she doesn’t want to go back to work
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Karen Clifton has thrown shade at her ex-husband Kevin Clifton with a savage meme.
The 37-year-old professional dancer hinted she is dreading returning to the BBC One dance competition and coming face to face with her former flame, whom she split from last year.
Karen shared a meme of a confused dog emblazoned with the quote: "When someone says 'have fun at work.'"
The post was shared on her Instagram Stories, which only lasts on the online platform for 24 hours.
However, the post has since been deleted from her account.
Kevin and Karen are both returning to compete on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, which will air on September 7.
Karen and Kevin married in 2015, but announced they had split earlier this year.
Kevin, 36, won last year's series with Stacey Dooley, and the pair are now dating.
Karen has also moved on from Kevin as she is currently in a relationship with David Webb.
Karen and David have recently enjoyed a romantic holiday to Martinique together.
While Kevin is said to have moved in with Stacey.
The pair sparked speculation they had taken the next step in their relationship as Stacey, 32, was spotted with a ring on her engagement ring finger, fuelling rumours they were engaged.
Meanwhile, Karen and Kevin have cut ties following their divorce, as Kevin has quit the dance school he used to run with Karen.
