Love Island’s Amy Hart to sign six figure fashion deal after sparking bidding war between major fashion brands a week after quitting £25k a year air hostess job
LOVE Island star Amy Hart is in talks to sign a six figure fashion deal after sparking a huge bidding war between major brands - less than a week after quitting her £25k a year air hostess job, The Sun Online can reveal.
The former British Airways flight attendant, 27, has caught the eye of a number of online retail giants who are desperate to get her to sign on the dotted line.
But she's taking her time to decide what deal is right for her as she's keen to be as hands-on as possible with any company she gets involved with - she doesn't want to just put her name to something and take the money.
The insider said: “Amy’s effortless style hasn’t gone unnoticed - and bosses at some of the biggest fashion brands in the UK have been in touch trying to get her to sign on the dotted line and collaborate with them.
“But, coming from a entrepreneurial family, she is very business-savvy and is being careful about committing herself to just any old deal that potentially won't be right for her...
"She doesn’t want to make the same mistakes as those before her, and she's keen to have a hands-on role and really throw herself into the brand - or brands - she works with.”
The source says Amy loves that her followers on social media appreciate her style - and she’s keen to make it easy for them to copy.
They said: “Everyone loves being told they look nice - and Amy’s no different.
"She really appreciates it that her fans like her outfit choices and ask her where they can buy the same thing - which is why she can't wait to collaborate with a brand on her own range!”
Taking to Instagram to address her decision, Amy revealed how she'd finally got round to handing in her pass after resigning in May.
She said: "A lot of people are asking why I've left BA. I actually left on the 25 May.
"I just haven't got round to taking all my stuff back yet because I've been so busy."
In a separate video, she added: "I've just come out of physio and come out to lots of messages about the whole BA thing.

"I can't work there anymore because I'm there to be in charge of the safety of the whole plane.
"Right now that just wouldn't be attainable because people would be... this isn't me sounding like everyone thinks I'm amazing because it's not that at all.
"People would be filming. People filmed us when I hadn't been on a TV show that millions of people watched.
"People would be filming and people would be trying to pick up on everything that I did wrong. Not that I ever did anything wrong."
