KATYA and Neil Jones has removed their wedding rings as they return to work on Strictly Come Dancing following their split.

The couple confirmed the news in a joint statement on their Instagram pages, and today they have both returned to social media to post pictures and updates for their fans.
Katya, 30, shared a snap of her in a brightly coloured feather costume while filming for the new series of Strictly.
Crossing her arms over her knees and resting her chin on them, she captioned the image: "Ever wondered how I dress on Monday morning? Yeah... just a casual boring outfit. #happymonday #newweek #chicken #layingeggs #strictly #strictlycomedancing #dancer #feathers #outfit."
However her wedding was missing from the shot, and her fans were quick to send her positive messages of support.

One wrote: "Go Kat go. Happier times ahead" while another posted: "Keep Dancing and Smiling you are a special talent."
A third agreed, writing: "You’re awesome, hope you are ok xx".
Meanwhile Neil, 37, was pictured without his ring while grabbing some food in London with fellow pros - and former husband and wife - Kevin and Karen Clifton.
Neil looked relaxed and shared a laugh with the pair as they carried their pastries to the first rehearsal with the 2019 celebrity cast.

In their statement, the couple - who were together for 11 years and married for six - insisted their split was a "mutual" decision and they would remain "the best of friends".
So it's no surprise that both dancers shared a post about their dance school's open day next month as well to prove they're still happy to work together.
The news of their split comes ten months after the Russian dancer was pictured kissing dance partner Seann Walsh.

The Sun also revealed how Katya had been reinstated to the main line-up with a celebrity partner.
Producers had planned to relegate her to reserve dancer when the new series starts as punishment for the “Kissgate” scandal.
Katya has been reprieved because show bookers signed up eight male celebrities instead of the planned seven, so they need an extra female dancer.

Meanwhile regular back-up dancer Neil will get a celebrity partner for the first time.
He steps into the limelight at the expense of show favourite Gorka Marquez, 28.
Neil got the nod over Gorka because the Spanish star is not tall enough for many of this year’s female celebrities. Gorka will now be one of the reserves.
