The three-part series premiered last week, documenting Jade's life ahead of her heartbreaking death in 2009 at the age of 27 following a battle with cervical cancer.

Tonight's episode focused on Jade's Celebrity Big Brother stint in 2007, which saw the reality star, Danielle Lloyd, and Jo O'Meara, get accused of racism against Bollywood star Shilpa.

The programme aired several of the shock scenes in full, including the moment that Jade referred to the Indian actress as "Shilpa Papadum" - and laughed at her for bleaching her facial hair.

Viewers were shocked by the resurfaced row, taking to social media to share their discomfort.

Another added: "This is really, really uncomfortable viewing."

A third said: "It's not pleasant watching this back."

Jade's mum Jackiey Budden went on to reveal that Jade thought her 2008 cancer diagnosis was "punishment" for the CBB race storm.

She recalled: "One night she felt really scared because, obviously, she knew she was going very soon.

"She said: 'Mum I feel like they’re coming to get me. They’re coming to get me. It’s going all dark'.

"She said: 'Is that because I was so bad in Big Brother?'."
