Shane Lynch admits he’s ‘really hungover’ on Lorraine – but fans are convinced Boyzone singer is still drunk after his big night out

BOYZONE'S Shane Lynch admitted he was 'really hungover' on today's Lorraine - but fans were convinced the singer was still drunk after a big night for the boy band.

The 43-year-old star appeared on the ITV programme to talk about his new car show, Scrapyard Supercar, as well as the end of the Irish boyband after more than 25 years.

But as soon as the interview started, Shane admitted to host Christine Lampard he was still feeling a little worse for wear.

As he clutched a mug and reclined on the chair, he referenced a headline Christine had read out about Taylor Swift being hungover and said: "I think I'm going to claim that one for myself."

Christine explained to viewers that Shane had flown over from Belfast, where Boyzone had performed their last ever gig in Ireland on Saturday as part of their Thank You and Goodnight farewell tour.

Shane joked: "I haven't come back from Belfast, I'm still there.

"I know the morning and everyone's up drinking coffee and it's Monday, but it's still Saturday for me OK?

"I'm still there, I'm not even here."

As Christine giggled awkwardly, Shane continued:  "It was incredible, the last ever show we played in Ireland was in Belfast and the people were unbelievable.

"They blew my mind to the point where I haven't slept for 48 [hours]."

Viewers couldn't help but comment on Shane's interview, with one writing on Twitter that they thought he was still intoxicated, saying: "Eh how drunk is @shanelynchlife on @lorraine was wondering why he couldn’t talk properly #Lorraine."

Another added: "@shanelynchlife Absolutely W***ered on @lorraine #Quality #Lorraine."

A third agreed, tweeting: "#Lorraine Shane Lynch completely s*** faced."
