Spice Girls ‘meet with top producers to plan new music comeback’
THE Spice Girls have met with top producers to plan a new music comeback, it has been reported.
Mel B, Mel C, Geri Horner, and Emma Bunton are even said to be trying to rope in Victoria Beckham to record fresh songs with them.
Posh Spice famously snubbed the band's most recent reunion, refusing to join them on their sold-out comeback tour.
However, the girls still haven't given up hope on Victoria, 45, returning to the group.
An insider revealed that the foursome met with music bosses in London earlier this week to plan their return to the charts.
They explained: "They have been working in London to gather their thoughts and start recording new material. It’s very exciting and in the early stages but it’s happening."
The source added to : "They’ve also been in contact with Victoria to see if she can be involved."
If the Spice Girls do release new music, it will be their first in almost 20 years, with their last official release third studio album Forever in 2000.
The news comes just days after Mel B promised fans that they will perform at Glastonbury Festival next year - with Victoria.
She said at the time: "My plan is for all five of us to do Glastonbury next year for the 50th anniversary.
"I’m in the process of persuading Victoria to do it. And I will make it happen."
Mel recently claimed that Victoria told her mum, Andrea Brown, that she is keen to do the gig when they bumped into each other at a summer party.
The discussion follows the group's highly successful reunion tour, which saw Mel reunite with Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, and Mel C for a series of sell-out gigs across the UK.
