LOVE Island champ Amber Gill will continue to work as a hairdresser despite being tipped to make £1million over the next year.
The 21-year-old beautician from Newcastle stole the hearts of the nation on the ITV2 dating show - and picked up £25,000 for winning the series with Irish lad Greg O'Shea, 25.
Speaking to magazine, Amber revealed she'll keep working with her aunt in their salon and hopefully open up some more businesses.
She told the mag: "I'll definitely keep working with my auntie. We'll still have the salon, and I'll build from that - the goal would be opening a few more salons together.
"That was the idea before Love Island, so hopefully we'll see what we can do."
Experts have said Amber and Greg will have a "golden 12 months" and would be looking to earn £1m each as fashion firms, cosmetic suppliers and food and drink companies clamour for them to promote their wares.
However, while filming for Love Island: The Reunion, the reality star admitted she may be tempted to move to Ireland to be closer to her new bae - which could potentially hinder any business plans with her aunt.
Talking about Greg potentially moving to Newcastle, Amber said to her dad Leon: “Stop saying he is going to live here, I might want to move to Ireland."
The star admitted that she would like to treat herself "a little bit", but will remain level headed and spend her money wisely.
She added: "I'm going to be sensible with the money. I'll probably treat myself a little bit, but I'm going to invest and be careful with it.
The winner's time in the villa was far from easy as she was first coupled up with Callum Macleod, 28 who she had no physical attraction to.
She then developed feelings for Michael Griffiths, 28, but her heart was broken by the Scouser after Casa Amour bombshell Joanna Chimonides, 22 turned Michael's head and coupled up with Joanna, leaving Amber single.
The beauty therapist was about to give up when two weeks before the final, Irish lad Greg swept her off her feet.
However, ITV bosses have cancelled the Love Island winners spin-off show because they're convinced that Amber and Greg will split before the show even airs.
It comes after previous couples who have had a spin-off show after their stint in the villa, such as Jack Fincham, 28 and Dani Dyer, 22 Olivia Attwood, 28 and Chris Hughes, 26 ended in bad blood.
A telly source said: “It’s been a publicity disaster in previous years, when couples split before their show aired or appeared to get back together just as the programmes came out.
“Jack and Dani’s series was a perfect example last year, with everyone saying their relationship was fake.
“This year bosses want to take the heat off the contestants’ relationships, especially as it’s been such a choppy year for couples making a go of it.
“Instead they are focusing on Winter Love Island and want to nail the casting for that series.
“Of course, they’re keeping a close eye on their couples to spot any potential for spin-off shows, but at the moment it’s certainly not looking likely.”
