Mel B promises the Spice Girls will perform at Glastonbury next year with Victoria Beckham
MEL B has promised that the Spice Girls will perform at Glastonbury next year - with Victoria Beckham.
The 45-year-old fashion designer famously snubbed the band's reunion tour earlier this year, but Mel is confident that she'll get her on board next summer.
Speaking about Victoria boycotting the comeback, Mel laughed: "Victoria is Victoria. She didn’t want to do it. She missed out."
Scary Spice went on to add to : "But my plan is for all five of us to do Glastonbury next year for the 50th anniversary.
"I’m in the process of persuading Victoria to do it. And I will make it happen."
Mel recently claimed that Victoria told her mum, Andrea Brown, that she is keen to do the gig when they bumped into each other at a summer party.
During an appearance on The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan last month, the star said: “Funnily enough, my mum was at her mum’s summer party and Victoria was there, and she did actually mention to my mum that she’d love to do Glastonbury for their 50th next year.
"It’s not just me saying it, she actually did say that to my mum."
Mel previously said that she feels like the Spice Girls "owe it to the fans" to perform at Glastonbury's much-anticipated 50-year anniversary in 2020.

The discussion follows the group's highly successful reunion tour, which saw Mel reunite with Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, and Mel C for a series of sell-out gigs across the UK.
Victoria faced scrutiny from her fellow bandmates for refusing to take part, with the businesswoman instead focusing on her family and fashion line.
She last performed with the girls at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony.
The pop group formed in 1994 but split in 2000 following Ginger's 1998 exit, and first reunited in 2007.
