EastEnders fans reeling as Sharon Mitchell finds out Keanu Taylor is her baby’s father

EASTENDERS fans were shocked tonight as Sharon Mitchell found out ex-lover Keanu Taylor is the father of her baby.

The Albert Square legend found out she was expecting back in May - but had no idea whether toyboy Keanu or her hard man husband Phil Mitchell was the dad.

And the news that volcanic Phil ISN'T the dad is sure to set up some utter mayhem on the BBC soap.

The opening moments of tonight's episode saw Sharon receive the results of the DNA test ruling out the scowling star as the dad.

A letter said: "The alleged father, Philip Mitchell, is excluded as the biological father of the unborn baby."

But Sharon ripped the results into tiny pieces - before she broke down in front of a bewildered Phil telling him: "Sorry."

He worriedly asked why, but she backed out of telling the truth, having ripped the letter into pieces and jammed it into a bag.

Sharon had considered having a termination, but when Phil caught her looking at abortion websites, she had to come clean and reveal she was pregnant.

A delighted Phil assumed he must be the father - having no idea about Sharon’s secret romps with hunk mechanic Keanu.

The pair got down and dirty in the Arches, teeing up the shocking pregnancy story line.

Fans were shocked, with one writing: "So Sharon is 100% pregnant with Keanu’s baby then. Can’t wait until Phil finds out!"

However, other insisted putting a letter in a plastic bag is no way to dispose of a family secret like that.

One wrote: "Idiot Sharon can't even dispose of a letter properly 🙄."

Another told her: "Really Sharon!!! At least bury the bag if you are not going to burn the contents."
