Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s puppy Waldo run over and killed by car in New York
JOE Jonas and Sophie Turner's pet dog has been run over and killed by a car in New York, it was revealed last night.
The celeb newlyweds are mourning the loss of little Waldo - who was mowed down in Manhattan earlier this week.
Little Waldo, an Alaskan Klee Kai puppy, had been on a leash but was spooked by a pedestrian and jumped onto the road, a source told .
The friend of pop star Jonas, 29, said the tragedy was a "freak accident" - adding that the couple was very emotional afterwards and had to see a therapist.
A police report was apparently filed but NYPD officials were unable to confirm the harrowing incident last night, the reported.
Jonas and Turner, 23, reportedly got Waldo back in April 2018.
He had initially adopted his brother Porky - but decided to take Waldo in as well.
Speaking of his beloved dogs, the star told in December: "They’ve gone all over the world.
“They’ve [flown] internationally, they’ve got passports. They’re the boujiest dogs I’ve ever met.”
Describing their personalities, Jonas added: “Porky is a maniac, a wild man. And Waldo’s really shy.”

The slain pup had its own - with over 45,000 followers.
And he even posed with Jonas during a Sexiest Man Alive shoot last November for magazine.
Jonas told Today: “Taking care of these two dogs has been so amazing.

"In New York, it’s great too - there’s obviously a lot of dogs and amazing dog parks, so they love it. I love it.
"And it definitely feels like home when I’m done touring and I can go back and I see those two dogs - it makes me really happy.
"They definitely chill me out.”
