Gok Wan’s How To Look Good Naked is coming back – here’s everything you need to know
GOK Wan’s How To Look Good Naked will be returning to our TV screens - EIGHT years after the show ended with its sixth and final series on Channel 4.
This time around, however, HTLGN will air on a new network, but when is it starting, will Gok reprise his role and where can you watch it? Here’s what we know so far...
Which channel will the show be on?
How To Look Good Naked has officially moved to Really - it will be the only place to catch all brand new episodes when the revived show commences.
Really, which is owned by Discovery, plans on helping women find their inner confidence at a time where people are constantly comparing their bodies to those seen on social media.
And shows such as Love Island only add to the constant pressure in feeling like one must always look their best and be in tiptop shape.
Since it’s been eight years since HTLGN concluded, Clare Laycock, VP Head of Lifestyle and Entertainment Brands at Discovery UK, noted why this was the ideal time to renew the show.
“With social media being more widely used than ever before, body confidence continues to be an enormous issue for a number of men and women,” she said.
“How To Look Good Naked was an incredibly important programme in boosting peoples’ self-esteem and self-worth, and I am delighted to bring to Really for a brand new run.”
When is the show starting?
An official release date hasn’t been set just yet.
According to , producers had been on the hunt for applicants to take part in the newest series - a deadline was set for July 7, 2019.
It’s believed that filming for the show kicked off in mid-July, so it’s fair to assume that How To Look Good Naked could be returning after the summer.
We’ll be sure to update you once Really confirms the show’s return date.

Will Gok Wan be returning?
It would almost seem impossible for Gok Wan not to be reprising his role as host of the show which he previously helmed for four years.
Charlotte Reid, who is Senior Director of Production and Development at Discovery UK, who worked on the original show on Channel 4, gushed how happy she was to be reuniting with one of her longtime work colleagues.
“Gok and I worked together on the original How To Look Good Naked series, and when we recently worked again on Say Yes To The Dress Lancashire, we realised it wasn’t only today’s brides who needed his ability to build confidence,'' she said.
“Bringing back this legacy brand with one of my favourite talents is incredibly exciting.”
In his own statement, Gok stressed how there’s a crisis in body confidence and scrutiny, “which is why it is the right time to bring back How To Look Good Naked and get people feeling comfortable in their own skin, whatever their shape or size.”
