Love Island producers ‘have fixed order of final dates’ to make sure Tommy and Molly-Mae win the show, claims bizarre new fan theory
LOVE Island fans have claimed the show is being "fixed" for Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague because their date airs closest to when voting opens.
Many viewers have insisted TV bosses gave the pair’s romantic scenes a prize spot on tonight’s episode in a bid to make sure they’re in the final.
Several have posted theories that the couples have been given an advantage over Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea, who are closing in on the pair according to bookies.
One fan wrote: "Every year the producers put on their favourite couples on their final dates on the second episode - right before opening the vote where we are influenced by what we’ve just seen."
They added: "Such a fix for Tommy and Molly."
Another Love Island conspiracy theorist tweeted: "Producers want tommy and molly mae and anton and bella to be the final 2...
"Why else would you make there dates, just before you open up the votes #LoveIsland another fix."
A third insisted: "The producers know that Amber and Greg are favs so they give Molly and Tommy the advantage to have a date with the last voting.
"The show is a fix and you guys need to see it."
Another said: "The couples whose dates are still fresh on the viewers minds might have a leg up."
Love Island broadcaster ITV has always denied that the show is fixed in any way and it is not yet known when exactly voting will open.
Last night's episode featured Curtis Pritchard, 23, and Maura Higgins, 28, toasting their future in a plant-lined courtyard.
Meanwhile, Ovie Soko, 28, and India Reynolds, 28, had a late-night liaison in a historic courtyard.
Finally, Amber Gill, 21, and Greg O'Shea, 24, enjoyed their final date on a boat, which some suspicious fans felt wasn't actually at sea.
Who will win Love Island?
1. Tommy & Molly-Mae - 4/5
2. Ovie & India - 13/8
3. Amber & Greg - 9/2
4. Curtis & Maura - 12/1
5. Anton & Belle - 18/1
Odds correct as of 26 July
Tonight, we are set to see Molly-Mae, 19, and Tommy, 20, and Anton Danyluk, 28, and Belle Hassan, 21, go on dates as the series draws to an end.
The winner will be crowned in a special feature-length episode on Monday night with £50,000 up for grabs.
