Katie Price’s ex Kieran Hayler breaks his silence on her engagement to Kris Boyson and insists he’s happy for her – despite still technically being married to her
KATIE Price’s husband Kieran Hayler has broken his silence on her engagement to Kris Boyson - saying he's happy for her.
The 32-year-old, who split from the star last year amid a string of cheating scandals, told The Sun Online: "Congratulations to them both, I wish them well."
Kieran and Katie - who share children Jett, five, and Bunny, four - have not yet divorced, meaning they are currently just separated.
Mum-of-five Pricey, 41, revealed on Loose Women yesterday that she and 30-year-old personal trainer Kris were getting married.
Flashing the glittering ring to Coleen Nolan and Nadia Sawalha, Katie acknowledged the fact she is still married to Kieran.
The star explained: "Kris bought the ring for that finger, so there you go, I’ve got love in my life."
However, she added: "The thing is with me and Kieran, we would never have split up if he’d behaved himself. He knows it.
“I get on so well with Kieran. The banter we have, we get on so well. We’ve got two children together.
“It’s so nice when you get on with your ex when you’ve got children.”
Yesterday, Katie showed off her engagement ring and kissed Kris in the street as they headed to a London restaurant.
The former Page 3 model, who has been married three times, headed to a posh restaurant where she and Kris toasted their happy news with champagne.
Katie married Mysterious Girl icon Peter Andre in 2005, cage fighter Alex Reid in 2010 and Kieran in 2013.
Last year, The Sun revealed Katie had dumped Kieran for good after he cheated with two of her friends.
As well as having an affair with her pal of 20 years, Jane Pountney, Kieran was also seeing her friend Chrissy Thomas.
In August 2017, Katie said that that he had cheated on her for a third time with their nanny Nikki Brown.
Kieran revealed last year that he had begun dating Michelle Penticost, a fellow parent at his and Katie's children's school.
