When is Victoria Sugden leaving Emmerdale? The Dales favourite is moving to Cornwall

Traumatised Victoria Sugden is planning on leaving the village for the Cornish coast in Emmerdale to escape memories of her rape ordeal.

When is Victoria Sugden leaving Emmerdale?

Pregnant chef Victoria Sugden is currently planning a move to Cornwall with her step-mum Diane.

She made the shock decision after her rapist, Lee Posner, and his mum, Wendy, arrived in the village. She’s been left shaken as Wendy has demanded rights to Vic’s unborn baby – which was conceived when Lee violently raped her earlier this year – and even threatened her that Lee will go for custody.
A desperate Vic told Wendy that she was having an abortion, but she’s always intended to keep the baby, to her big brother Robert’s horror.
She’s selling the cottage she once shared with estranged husband Adam Barton while Diane is selling up her shares in the B&B to fund the move and support her - but when are they actually off?
Well, the good news is they’re probably not. There’s been no official announcement from Emmerdale that either Isabel Hodgins – who plays Victoria – or Elizabeth Estensen – who plays Diane – are leaving the ITV soap.
The actresses haven’t made any comment about leaving their roles behind them either.
Victoria is set to have a confrontation with her former best-friend Matty Barton as he fumes about her keeping him in the dark about her big move. But even if she does quit temporarily, it doesn’t look like it will be a permanent thing.

So what happens then?

The bods over at Emmerdale are staying tight-lipped about Victoria’s future and how the storyline develops, but it’s looking increasingly likely that it will culminate in Robert’s departure.
It was announced earlier this year that Ryan Hawley – who plays the protective brother – will be leaving the soap before the end of the year.

Since the announcement, Emmerdale fans have been furiously speculating about how Robert would leave the Dales and the general consensus is that it will have something to do with his revenge plot against Lee – who wasn’t charged for the rape
due to lack of evidence.
Robert has been simmering away, planning a way to make Lee pay for raping Victoria while fans have been convinced he will kill him.

And Emmerdale added fuel to the fire when they teased that Robert could actually die in his quest to avenge his sister.
Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw revealed: “Robert is intent on getting his revenge at any cost, even if it kills him.
“Victoria’s evil rapist Lee is still pursuing her, so Victoria decides that the only way that she’s ever going to live happily and peacefully with the baby, is if she leaves the village forever.
“As her brother finds this out, he’s obviously devastated. He doesn’t want his sister to leave at all and as Lee piles the pressure on both of them, Robert is pushed to the very edge.”
