Emily Atack announced as new host of ITV2 show Singletown with Joel Dommett to fill gap left by Love Island
EMILY Atack has been announced as the host of new ITV2 show Singletown alongside Joel Dommett to fill the gap left by Love Island.
The 29-year-old star took to her Instagram page last night to share the exciting news with fans.
Posting a photo of herself alongside Joel, 33, Emily wrote: "Everyone sick to death of announcements!?! Good.. so.. I am over the MOON to be able to finally tell you, that I will be hosting SINGLETOWN with my pal @joeldommett coming soon to @itv2".
She added: "The worst kept secret since sliced bread. I cannot wait for you all to see it. @singletownofficial".
In the photo, Emily is beaming in an all-red outfit, with the word "LOVE" emblazoned across her jumper.
She has her blonde hair curled as she beams at the camera, matching a red lipstick to her look.
Joel looks casual in an oversized white T-Shirt and brown chinos, but teases a small look of love with his pink socks on display.
The comic shared more detail about the programme on his own social media page, explaining: "So unbelievably excited to finally announce the unannouncable.
"Myself and @emilyatackofficial are hosting a new reality dating show for @itv2 called SINGLETOWN.
"It’s incredible. Really. 15 episodes coming soon into your lives and televisions."
The ITV2 show will see "five couples pause their relationships for the summer" - with no doubt dramatic results.
Emily's sister Martha Atack insisted that Singletown will "fill the Love Island shaped hole" in people's lives in a post on her Instagram Story.
The Talent Agent went on to add: "Just seen episode one of this one, it's F***ING GREAT."
Love Island will leave our screens on Monday night when one of the remaining couples will be crowned this year's winners.

However, fans previously suggested that show bosses should give this year's £50,000 prize fund to charity as they blasted the lack of real relationships in the ITV2 dating show this series.
Singletown will air on the same channel this September.
