Matt Damon and Ben Affleck reunite on screen for the first time in 15 years for new movie
THEY were last seen together on screen in 2004 and now Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are set to reunite for the first time in 15 years.
Hollywood stars Ben, 46, and Matt, 48, are working on a script together for The Last Duel, alongside Nicole Holofcener and director Ridley Scott.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Good Will Hunting actors have been confirmed to star in the film adaptation of Eric Jager's book The Last Duel: A True Story of Crime, Scandal, and Trial by Combat in Medieval France.
The novel, which was released in 2004, tells the real-life story of two French knights, who become sworn enemies after one accuses the other of raping his wife.
The upcoming flick is the first time the actors will be seen together on screen since Matt's cameo in 2004 flick Jersey Girl.
The pair - who have remained friends throughout the years - have starred in a number of films together.
Their film history includes Good Will Hunting, School Ties, Glory Daze, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and the Silent Bob Strike Back and The Third Wheel.
Good Will Hunting was also the actors first win at the Oscars after scooping Best Original Screenplay, as a well as a best actor nomination for Matt.
Earlier this week, Ben's brother Casey opened up about the stars on-screen chemistry.
He said: "I think they have their own real relationship and something about that translates to the screen.

"They’ll be playing medieval knights of some sort, so I’m not sure that’s going to work.
"But yeah, there they’ll be on screen together and it’ll be lovely."
Matt was reportedly there for Ben as he returned to rehab last year.
The star checked him into a treatment centre in Malibu for alcohol abuse after his ex wife of ten years Jennifer Gardner went to his LA home and begged him to get help last August.
