CORONATION Street's Kate Connor's exit storyline is revealed as she moves on from Rana and plans to go travelling with ex girlfriend Imogen.

The grieving star is finally ready to move on after the love of her life Rana was crushed to death under the factory roof earlier this year.

Corrie's Kate is beginning to make plans after the devastating death of her fiancée Rana Habeeb.

 She will stun viewers as she meets up with ex-girlfriend Imogen Pascoe in Coronation Street next week.

Kate’s presence at The Rovers is beginning to annoy her step-mum Jenny Connor.

When Kate – who’s played by Faye Brookes in the ITV soap - rolls downstairs with yet another hangover, Jenny suggests to Jonny that Kate might get some sense of purpose if she went back to work and started paying rent.

Later, Jenny – Sally Ann Matthews - considers the idea of turning the pub into a B&B to make more money.

Ed Bailey agrees to come and have a look and give her a quote.

Meanwhile Kate meets up with Imogen – Melissa Johns - who fills her in on her plans to travel the world.

Kate’s envious and Imogen suggests that she joins her on the trip.

But Jenny’s infuriated when Kate asks Johnny for £3k to fund the trip.

Later, as Jenny tells Johnny about her plans to turn the pub into a B&B, he worries about the cost.

Kate then chips in and tells him she intends to go back to work at the Bistro so she can pay for her own trip.

Jenny’s delighted, but when she jokes to Tracy about getting rid of her stepdaughter, Kate overhears and is hurt.

When Jenny gets Ed in to measure up Kate’s room, Johnny is seriously unimpressed. Knowing that Jenny is making Kate feel awkward, he warns her not to make him choose.

Eventually Kate and Jenny agree to call a truce for the sake of Johnny’s health.

Actress Faye revealed earlier this year that she was quitting the cobbles plunging Corrie into further chaos after an exodus of some of the show's favourite stars.

She recently filmed her last scenes for the soap.
