LOVE Island hunk Michael Griffiths finally confesses he still has feelings for Amber Gill on tonight’s show – just days after crying over Joanna Chimonides.
Michael, 27, couldn’t bear to see his ex Amber on a date with new arrival Greg O’Shea, who summoned her to the Hideaway for their first romantic meeting.
On Sunday’s show, hours before Joanna was booted out from the island, Amber, 21, admitted she was still into Michael – but he knocked her back.
In a dramatic U-turn Michael pulls Amber for a chat tonight to tell her how he feels after her date with Greg made him envious.
Michael claimed for weeks that he was happy with Joanna but his co-stars weren’t convinced.
But Joanna hoped her being dumped from the villa would make Michael realise his feelings for her, telling The Sun this week that she still saw a future with him.
The Sun revealed that Love Island bosses changed the public vote rules so that only one Islander was eliminated instead of least popular couple Joanna and Michael.
Insiders claimed the move was in the hope Michael would rekindle his romance with Amber, who he left heartbroken after dumping her for Joanna during the Casa Amor twist.
Just days later the fireman appears to have had a change of heart – with a reunion between the pair back on the cards.
The scenes will be awkward viewing for Joanna, who said she will watch the show from home to keep an eye on Michael and Amber's relationship.
