Mel B joins Geri Horner and husband Christian at the British GP after lesbian romp spat
MEL B joined Geri Horner and her husband Christian at the British Grand Prix after it was rumoured they had fallen out over the Spice Girl’s lesbian romp confession.
The trio were all smiles for the event held at Silverstone as they watched Christian’s Red Bull Racing team get ready for the race.
Looked fresh-faced and demure, Mel, Geri and Christian looked as if they’d put all the drama of recent months behind them.
Wearing a Balmain, ivory double-breasted wool blazer, Geri, 46, wrapped her arms around Mel and Christian for a cosy photograph.
Spice Girls fans were shocked when Mel confessed the pair had sex in the mid '90s during her Life Stories interview with Piers Morgan.
The 43-year-old claimed she'd slept with Geri in the girl group's heyday, telling Piers: “She (Geri) is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in her country house and her husband, but it’s a fact.”
Pressing her, Piers asked: “So just once?” Mel replied: “Yeah.”
She added: “Hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won’t deny it, because it was just a thing, a fun thing.”
However, a source told The Sun that worried Mel made an apologetic call to Geri immediately after filming the chat.
Geri and her husband, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, were thought to have been furious with Mel and the Ginger Spice issued a statement refuting the claims.
It read: "It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days.
"Geri loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie B, Melanie C and Victoria [Beckham]. She would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family.”
The Spice Girls have recently completed a triumphant return to the stage with a sell-out 13 date UK tour.
During their final show at London’s Wembley Stadium Mel B announced they would take their Spice World tour to Australia in February, but Geri is thought to dragging her feet over the plans.
Geri famously quit the group in 1998 amid claims of a power struggle with Mel B, although the remaining members went on to release a third and final album without her.
Emma Bunton, 43, Mel C, 45, Mel B, 44, and Geri are believed to have made £10million each from their reunion.
A source close to the group said: “The other girls all want to take their Spice World show internationally.
“They all had so much fun and know there is massive demand outside of the UK.
“Geri loved the tour but it was very hard going on her and she really feels like three nights at Wembley Stadium is the perfect high to end on.
“She doesn’t really want to be away from her kids for any long stretches and just feels like it might not be worthwhile.”

Mel B previously admitted not all four of the members had agreed to the Australian tour and that she had let the news slip prematurely.
She said: “So I announced it on stage, yes, without everybody else signing off 100 percent.”
