Love Island fans convinced Ovie and Amber will be the first couple to win as FRIENDS
LOVE Island's Amber Gill and Ovie Soko are on course to win the show as friends, fans have said.
It would be the first time two people who are not in a romantic relationship have ever taken the prize.
Last night, viewers' hearts were melted when 21-year-old beautician Amber choose to couple with 28-year-old Ovie so he could stay on the show and find love.
She said: "I want to couple up with this guy because he's the funniest guy I've ever met ever ever ever ever.
"He's got such a chilled vibe to him. He gives us the best advice. I would class him as a big brother to me and I would love to see him find someone in this villa."
She confirmed: "The boy I would like to couple up with is Ovie."
However, the guy she really likes is Michael Griffiths, who she was coupled up with before he swapped her for Joanna Chimonides.
Nonetheless, fans believe she and Ovie could win the show as friends.
One tweeted: "Hold up.. y’all Ovie and Amber don’t have to be an actual couple to win.
"If they stay coupled up together, we can still vote them to win. They can be the first friendship couple to win.. LETS GOOO 🙌."
Another tweeted: "I feel like Ovie and Amber should be the FIRST friendship couple to win love island.
"Love comes in all forms - romantic, family and friendship. Them two deserve the world."
A third insisted: "Amber and Ovie to be the first non romantic couple to win."
One other said: "Amber and ovie could stay straight up buds right through to the end and i would still be voting for them to win the 50k. they’re the winners we deserve."
