POPPY  Lee Friar has starred in countless television dramas and currently plays the lead role in Channel 4’s Ackley Bridge as Missy Booth.

Poppy Lee Friar is a British actress, who was born on April 16, 1995 in Southwark, London, England.

She attended Sylvia Young Theatre School, which alumnis include Rita Ora, Little Mix’s Jessy Nelson, Dua Lupa and Denise Van Outen.

In 2015, the actress was nominated for the British Academy Children Awards, however, she is yet to win any accolades.

Poppy is managed by Troika agency and has a huge following on Instagram and Twitter, with more than 11,000 followers combined.

What shows has Poppy Lee Friar been in before?

The TV star is currently playing Missy Booth in the hugely popular school drama Ackley Bridge, alongside former EastEnders actress Jo Joyner.

Prior to working on the Channel 4 series, she was seen opposite Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin in Fox Searchlight’s adaptation of My Cousin Rachel.

Also, she played the lead role in the CBBC children series Eve and had parts in BBC’s In The Club and Inspector George Gently.

Her other work include roles in A Touch of Frost, The Syndicate, Dead Gorgeous and Little Einsteins.

However, she is best known for playing Rosalie Selfridge in ITV’s Mr Selfridge, which she starred in for two years.
