The Hills: New Beginnings cast – who is returning from the original line-up?
MTV’s The Hills: New Beginnings has finally arrived and the excitement is at an all-time high, but we won’t be seeing everyone from the original line-up return to the show.
Knowing that Lauren Conrad will not be starring in the latest series, let’s take a look at those who’ve signed on to entertain our summer.
Who has been cast for The Hills: New Beginnings?
Mischa Barton
While she certainly wasn’t part of The Hills when it first aired on MTV, it seemed producers couldn’t miss out on the chance of having Mischa Barton take part.
After all, Mischa was well known for having starred in shows such as The OC, which heavily inspired the development of the MTV programme a few years later.
So, fans can say that even though she’s not an original member, she knows how the show works - and it’ll be interesting to see what this reality star has been up to over the years.
Stephanie Pratt
Stephanie Pratt is returning to reality television, but did she ever really leave?
After appearing on MTV's The Hills for three years, Steph spent four years serving up the drama on Made in Chelsea and even took part in the LA spin-off series in 2015.
From what's been gathered, she hasn't had the best relationship with her brother Spencer and his wife Heidi, but it's all about to unravel as New Beginnings hits our screens.
Brody Jenner
Brody Jenner is making his return to reality television.
He's been a fan favourite during the show’s original run but, as far as his personal life is concerned, things have changed drastically for the American television personality since then.
With everything from recently tying the knot with Kaitlynn Carter to seeing his father Caitlyn Jenner transition into becoming a woman - there's a lot of material to develop an interesting storyline there.
It’s unclear whether Brody has filmed scenes with his father, but there’s definitely a storyline that could be of interest to viewers with what the Californian has to offer on the show.
Audrina Patridge
Audrina Patridge pretty much became the go-to friend when her friends were having problems on The Hills.
Meanwhile, Audrina was actually dealing with problems of her own, ranging from her chaotic love life, her up-and-down friendship with Lauren, and so much more.
Basically, the drama that Audrina was bringing to The Hills was just as entertaining as when she would offer advice to those dealing with relationship problems.
The irony.
After the show ended, Audrina became an actress and landed herself several leading roles along with hosting opportunities.
She’s now a mother of one, found herself divorcing her ex-husband and longtime beau Corey Bohan and clearly wants to get back in the limelight to relaunch her career.
She’s sure to have an explosive season ahead of her.

Heidi & Spencer Pratt
Love them or hate them, Heidi and Spencer Pratt are back.
Quite frankly, if they weren’t coming back to The Hills, MTV would have had a hard time convincing fans that there was a need to tun in.
We all know that most of the drama, feuds and arguments were established by this couple, who surprised everyone by having remained together all this time.
The two are now parents to their baby boy Gunner, with Heidi having recently focused her attention on becoming a businesswoman and launching her own crystal line titled Pratt Daddy Crystals.
When does The Hills: New Beginnings air?
The Hills: New Beginnings premieres June 25, 2019 on MTV at 8pm.

The full cast reunited for the premiere of The Hills: New Beginnings in Los Angeles on June 19.
